Category Management MDI utilizes resources such as WinCMS and IRI scan data for applicable markets to analyze items within each category to be studied. Examples of typical analyses include sku rationalizations and planogram comparisons, which assist in determining the proper mix and set of items within a category. Final recommendations relate to item additions and deletions as well as new planograms reflecting recommended changes.
